Great book. I started following Natalie on YouTube years ago, and I had this book on my wishlist for AGES. Well, I finally bought it and it's full of awesome poems about murder. I prefer to open it to a random page every once in a while and enjoy it one poem at a time that way.Also... girl, why did you disappear off of social media? I hope you're doing great.

I received this wonderful book of poetry by Natalie Elizabeth and I couldn't put it down. Within two days of receiving it I was finished, waited a few hours and book marked my favorite poems. Thank you so much, I loved your book and really enjoy your youtube channel. TWO THUMBS UP!
Organ Grinder is a short collection of stories and poems by Natalie Elizabeth. The poems range from love and love lost to the terrible and horrific (in a good way). The writing uses beautiful imagery that the reader finds the poems haunting long after you've read them. I've never been much of a poetry or short story reader, but the text is easy to read and involves the reader by not giving too much information. I found myself asking questions after reading a short poem and filling in the void with my own inferencing skills. The kind of literature that forces the reader to become an active participant may not be satisfying in the "let's tie up the story with a nice ribbon and bow" way, but it is the kind that we remember.
Organ Grinder is not fluff. I would read more from NE.
Romantic and sinister glorification of our narcissistic nature A journey to a cold world where transcendent truth holds no rule over the conscience of the protagonist and justice is a fickle concept that only serves the diabolical impulses of the narrator. At times it is a spectacle of horror.
Organ Grinder is a collection of poems and couple of prose pieces that is - given my assessment, above - mercifully short.
Even so I believe that the book is a good literary exercise and I hope that the author continues with writing and publishing collections like this. They may improve.

Also, I like the format of the pages. Good paper for the pages and nice cover stock. Much nicer physical product that what I expected for the price. There is plenty of room at wide margins to pen notes and sketches.
